Gardeners Forum Talk 2: David Buchanan-Cook

The Gardeners Forum are pleased to announce there are three talks scheduled to take place before Christmas, all are welcome.

Talk 2: David Buchanan-Cook - Plant Heritage and the Helensbank National Collection of Portland Roses

Saturday 28th October @ 6.00 pm for 6.30 pm start. Entry is £10. 

David is a respected Rosarian and has the largest collection of Portland roses in the UK, if not Europe. David believes he has a duty to preserve the collection for posterity. The collection continues to grow and David has so far managed to identify 36 varieties, and currently has 29 growing in the garden at Helensbank.

This is a live talk, once again followed by a Question and Answer session and supper, which will be main course and vegetables, pudding, tea/coffee. Bring Your Own Booze (BYOB).
